How to change the time zone in cPanel Webmail ?

Changing the Time Zone in cPanel Webmail. By default, webmail applications use the time zone of the host server. However, if you are in a different time zone, you may need to adjust this setting. The process for doing this can vary depending on the webmail application you are using. Once the time zone has been changed, all timestamps will be displayed in the new time zone immediately.

Follow the instructions below to change the time zone setting for your webmail application, whether you are using Horde or Roundcube. If you are unsure how to set Horde or Roundcube as the default cPanel webmail interface, please refer to our article.

  1. Log in to your webmail.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the top horizontal taskbar, then select Preferences and Global Preferences.
  3. Under Your Information, click Locale and Time.
  4. Select your desired time zone from the drop-down list under Your current time zone and click Save.

  1. Log in to your webmail.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select Preferences, then User Interface.
